35 days · 34 nights · Private tour from Casablanca
This 35 day Morocco tour is our longest and most relaxed journey: five weeks to travel the whole country without rushing. It starts and ends in Casablanca and loops through the imperial cities, the north, the Middle Atlas, two nights in the Sahara, the kasbah valleys, the Atlantic coast, Marrakech and Essaouira.
You travel with your own English-speaking driver from the first day to the last, sleep in hand-picked riads and hotels, and stay two to four nights in most places. Walking is kept short, and many days include free time, which makes this route ideal for retirees, slow travelers and anyone who wants to live Morocco rather than tick it off.

35 day Morocco tour: frequently asked questions
Is 35 days too long for Morocco?
Not if you like to travel slowly. Most tours of 10 to 15 days move almost every day. Over 35 days you stay 2 to 4 nights in most places, have regular free days and still see the imperial cities, the north, the Sahara, the gorges, the coast and Marrakech.
Who is this tour best for?
Retirees, slow travelers and couples who want comfort, short walking times and a private driver throughout. Guided walks are usually 1 to 2 hours; the longest is an optional walk in the Dades Valley of about 4 hours, which can be shortened.
How much does the 35 day Morocco tour cost?
For 2 travelers, from $7,595 per person in Standard hotels, $9,520 in Comfort and $20,020 in Luxury. Groups of 3 or more pay less per person.
Which meals are included?
Breakfast every day (34) and 9 dinners: 2 in Midelt, 2 in the Sahara camp, 3 in the Dades Valley and 2 in the Aït Benhaddou area. Lunches, other dinners and drinks are not included.
Which desert do we visit, and for how long?
You spend 2 nights in a luxury desert camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga, with a camel ride at sunset and a 4×4 excursion to Khamlia and Dayet Srji. Compare Merzouga and Erg Chegaga.
Can I change or shorten the itinerary?
Yes. This is a private tour, so we can add or remove nights, swap Agadir for more time in Marrakech, or turn it into a shorter route. See our tailor-made Morocco tours or our 22 day Morocco tour.
What is the best time of year for this tour?
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most comfortable for both the cities and the Sahara. In summer the desert is very hot, and in winter desert nights are cold, so we adjust the timing of each day to the season.
