Welcome to Morocco!
Upon arrival into Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport, look out for the friendly face of your chauffeur waiting for you in the arrivals hall. The driver will wait for you with a sign with the name of our travel agency Chegaga Travel.
After assisting you with your luggage, your private transfer will drive you to your hotel in the heart of the city. Don’t forget to look out the window and be awed by this majestic city, one of the world’s longest continuously inhabited places.
Once you’ve checked into the hotel, feel free to enjoy the rest of the evening at your own pace and leisure.

Casablanca to Rabat to Chefchaouen – Cultural Landmarks & Scenic Drive
After breakfast, your driver will pick you up at 08:45 AM to begin your journey through Morocco’s imperial and coastal treasures. Your first stop is the majestic Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, one of the largest mosques in the world and the most iconic in Morocco. Set along the Atlantic Ocean, its intricate details and 210-meter-high minaret make it an unforgettable sight.
From here, continue north along the Atlantic coast to the capital city of Rabat, known for its elegant blend of history and modernity. Upon arrival, explore the historic Chellah, an ancient necropolis enclosed by powerful stone walls. Then pass by the striking Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a marble landmark that honors the late king and his sons, and admire the exterior of the Royal Palace.
Before leaving Rabat, take time to visit the serene Kasbah of the Udayas, a fortified quarter offering beautiful views over the river and ocean, with its white-and-blue painted lanes inviting a quiet stroll.
Later in the afternoon, your driver will take you on a picturesque journey through the Rif Mountains to the enchanting town of Chefchaouen. Arrive in the early evening and settle into this peaceful town, known for its vivid blue walls and relaxed mountain atmosphere.

Chefchaouen to Fes – A Peaceful Morning in the Blue City
Begin your day at 09:30 AM with a self-guided walking tour through the enchanting town of Chefchaouen, often referred to as Morocco’s “Blue Pearl.” Nestled in the foothills of the Rif Mountains, this small town captivates visitors with its whitewashed facades painted in every shade of blue — a soothing and surreal atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Morocco.
Spend the morning strolling at your own pace through its narrow, winding alleys. Along the way, you’ll pass vibrant weaving studios, leather workshops, and artisan stalls showcasing traditional crafts. In the heart of the medina, discover the red-walled Kasbah, a 15th-century fortress surrounded by lush gardens. Nearby, admire the unique octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rising above the town’s rooftops, adding to the city’s historic charm.
After lunch, meet your driver and continue your journey toward Fes, one of Morocco’s most culturally rich and spiritually significant cities. Enjoy the scenic drive through the mountainous countryside as you descend into the plains of northern Morocco, arriving in Fes by late afternoon or early evening.

Head out on an exploration of Fez, Morocco’s oldest city. You will be guided to important historical sights, such as the gate of the Royal Palace and the old Jewish Quarter, which is known as the “Mellah.” Dating from the 14th century, it is the oldest in Morocco.
The continue the visit to the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali (Old Fes). This ancient medina is one of the world’s largest car-free urban areas. Certainly, It is a labyrinth of narrow, winding streets filled with bustling souks, traditional workshops, and historical sites.
Our knowledgeable local guide will lead you through the medina, starting with the Bab Bou Jeloud, or the Blue Gate, a stunning example of Moroccan architecture.
Delve deeper into the medina where you’ll visit the Al Quaraouiyine University. Founded in 859 AD, it is the oldest continuously operating university in the world.
Besides, you’ll find the Al-Attarine Madrasa, a masterpiece of Marinid architecture, adorned with intricate tilework and wood carvings. The Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts offers insights into traditional Moroccan carpentry and craftsmanship.
Moreover, your exploration continues with a visit to the Chouara Tannery, one of the oldest tanneries in the world. Stop in Ifrane – Morocco’s “Little Switzerland”

Walk Through the Cedar Forest

Lunch Stop in Midelt

Cross the Ziz Valley – Gorges, Oases & Palms

Camel Ride & Desert Camp Experience
Mount your camel and begin a peaceful journey across the golden sands, timed perfectly with the setting sun. As the sky shifts into hues of amber and red, the calm and silence of the desert create an unforgettable atmosphere.

Merzouga to Dades – Sunrise, Gorges & Scenic Valleys

After taking in the view, return to your desert camp for breakfast and a refreshing wash. You’ll then begin a peaceful camel trek back to the village of Merzouga, enjoying the shifting light and colors of the dunes as a new day begins. The beauty of the Sahara in the morning is truly unforgettable.
Around 10:00 AM, meet your driver and begin your journey toward the Dades Valley, with several cultural and scenic stops along the way.
Optional Stop: Rissani & Erfoud
On the way, you may choose to stop in Rissani, a historic town known as the birthplace of Morocco’s ruling dynasty. Here, you can visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, the founder of the Alaouite dynasty. The journey continues to Erfoud, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit a fossil workshop, showcasing the area’s rich geological history and ancient marine fossils preserved in marble.
Explore the Todra Valley & Gorges
From Erfoud, head toward the Todra Valley, where you’ll enjoy lunch amidst a lush landscape of date palms and mudbrick villages. After lunch, take a leisurely 30-minute walk through the stunning Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon carved by the Todra River, featuring towering cliffs that rise over 300 meters. The area is also home to a traditional Jewish quarter and palm grove, offering a peaceful glimpse into the region’s rich cultural diversity.
Scenic Drive to Dades
In the late afternoon, continue driving through the spectacular Dades Valley, known for its majestic sandstone formations, ancient kasbahs, and the whimsical rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers.”

After breakfast at your accommodation, your driver will meet you at 09:00 AM to begin your scenic journey through southern Morocco toward Marrakech. This route takes you along the legendary “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” where dramatic landscapes and ancient fortified villages offer countless opportunities to pause and take in the beauty of the High Atlas region.
Stop in Kalaat M’Gouna – The Valley of Roses
Your first stop is Kalaat M’Gouna, the heart of Morocco’s famed Valley of Roses. Here, you’ll have the option to visit a women’s cooperative where rosewater, oils, and natural beauty products are made using traditional methods. It’s a lovely place to pick up fragrant souvenirs while supporting local artisans.
Ouarzazate – The Hollywood of Africa
Continue your journey to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa.” This quiet desert city has played host to numerous international film productions thanks to its cinematic landscapes and historic kasbahs. This morning, you will enjoy a privately guided tour of Marrakech led by an expert English-speaking local guide. At 09:30 AM, meet your guide and begin your immersive exploration of the city’s historical and cultural heart. Your first stop is the Koutoubia Mosque, an iconic landmark of Marrakech known for its majestic 12th-century minaret, which towers gracefully above the medina skyline. Although non-Muslims cannot enter the mosque, the exterior alone offers an inspiring introduction to traditional Almohad architecture.
Continue to the splendid Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship built in the late 19th century. As you wander through its mosaic-tiled courtyards, lush gardens, and intricately carved wooden ceilings, your guide will share stories of the palace’s past and the lives of those who once lived there.
Next, dive into the sensory-rich world of the souks, where narrow alleyways brim with vibrant textiles, spices, lanterns, and hand-crafted wares. Let the sounds, scents, and colors of the old Medina guide you deeper into Marrakech’s cultural fabric. You’ll also have the chance to stroll through the smell streets, famous for their aromatic herbs and natural products, and feel the timeless rhythm of life in the historic medina.
Your guided tour continues to the Ben Youssef Madrasa, a beautifully preserved Islamic college dating back to the 14th century. Admire the elaborate stucco work, cedar wood carvings, and peaceful courtyards of one of the largest theological colleges in North Africa.
As the morning concludes, you can optionaly visit “Le Jardin Secret”(Not included with the guide), a serene oasis hidden within the medina. This beautifully restored palace garden blends traditional Islamic design with exotic flora and is a peaceful place to reflect on the morning’s discoveries. The guided portion of the tour ends here.
You will then have 1 hour and 30 minutes for lunch at your leisure. Your guide or driver can recommend local restaurants offering authentic Moroccan cuisine.
In the afternoon, you have the optional opportunity to visit the famous Majorelle Garden, a striking botanical haven created by French painter Jacques Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent. Known for its cobalt blue accents, exotic plants, and tranquil atmosphere, the garden is a favorite for travelers seeking beauty and calm.
